You like dancing? Learn to dance with us. We are Blanco y Negro Studio, the first school in Madrid specialized in North American Rhythms in Madrid. Since 2007 making Lindy hop, Rock & Roll, Balboa, Shag and now West Coast Swing known. Get out of the monotony and come meet us.
The West Coast Swing is a dance that has its origins in the Swing (Lindy Hop) of the 40s. There were two styles, the "Savoy Style" which was danced mainly by the African-American community in Harlem in the dance halls, the best known being the Savoy Room, which bears its name. And later "Hollywood Style" by dancers from the West Coast (California) who developed a dance style that would help make it easier for the cinematographic recordings of the time.
Over time it has evolved to adapt to more dance styles and all kinds of music: Blues, Soul, Disco, Pop, Dance, Hip Hop and even the most current Latin Urban Dance... You can dance with almost anything . Therein lies its success.
