Arte y Compás

Our objective is the promotion of Flamenco in its four disciplines: dance, singing, guitar and percussion. Flamenco guitar and dance academy, the best environment to learn.

The Academia de Flamenco Arte y Compás is based in Algeciras and was founded in 2005.

The school is staffed by teachers of dance, guitar, singing and percussion, and its director is Salvador Andrades.

This teaching staff is made up of artists who are actively linked to the world of show business. Besides teaching the art of flamenco, the experience of people who are permanently performing is transmitted to the students. This is important because flamenco, being a popular and folkloric art, must maintain the freshness and immediacy of its attractiveness and this can only be done by active artists who also have the didactic facet.
