CORNEL Y RITHIKA

Cornel and Rithika are, in my opinion, the most magical! They work like a magnet, interacting as if they've known each other all their lives, as if they were destined to meet. Their infinitely gentle gestures, their complicity, tell us that this kind of attraction is essentially a love affair: two beings meet and become linked to each other like a matter of course.

Cornel comes from a poor family in Bajal, Mangalore in Mumbai, India, where he studied at St. Aloysius College. He had no professional dance training, but learnt to dance on his own, watching videos on YouTube, and that's how he mastered the art. Thanks to his passion, he realised his dream and became an expert dancer on stage, and even a Bollywood-style choreographer. Bollywood remains one of the most recognised styles: there's no better way to develop your sensuality and ease on stage!

Rithika Poojary was born in Numbai, where she studied at the Lycée Canossa. After graduating, she learned to dance, first at Saks Salon for a year, then she met Cornel Rodriguez, who made her dance.

When dancing, a woman can easily guess her partner's character. There's the bully, who makes big violent movements and doesn't realise that he's twisting his partner's arm - the uptight stickler, who counts his steps and moves with the grace of a rusty robot - the joker, who does a bit of everything but is fun to be with. But Cornel knows how to feel the music and how to make his partner feel it, and it's a well-known fact that dance lessons make it easier to get closer, and even to discover love. Gradually, Rithika and Cornel fall in love, never leave each other's side and always dance together. They are now very famous on social networks for their osmosis and their style of dance as a couple: Sensual Bachata.
