José Ignacio Muñoz, director and teacher of the Escuela de Baile is one of the pioneers in the teaching of ballroom dancing in Madrid.

Dancing from a very young age, he began his work as a teacher in 1986. He has done research in Paris, London, New York, Buenos Aires and the Caribbean on ballroom dancing and its authentic forms.

Initially self-taught, he has dedicated many years of his life to teaching, always combined with his dedication to the show. He has developed his own method of learning, with which he has taught thousands of people how to dance in Spain and abroad. There are many dance teachers from Madrid who have been trained in their school. She has also given numerous dance courses to teachers from the rest of the country.
