We don't talk, we don't judge, we dance barefoot. These simple guidelines guide the Ecstatic Dance sessions, spaces in which you can express yourself freely through movement. For two hours dance as you want, let the body move, dance with absolute freedom. Above all, enjoy.

In this first session in Tarragona we have a master of ceremonies of luxury: the pioneer DJ Albert Pala, with more than 22 years of experience, who will offer us a dance session as it deserves the occasion.

WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE

Ecstatic Dance was born in Big Island (Hawaii), under the inspiration of a facilitator of 5 rhythms by Gabrielle Roth. Today it is widespread and causes rage in much of the U.S., especially in the state of California, and most European capitals. Ecstatic Dance sessions are not based on a class or a technique, but on the creation of a space where you can be yourself, express yourself through dance and music, giving freedom of action and movement to the body. It is particularized by dispensing with goals and structures, having only one guideline: not to communicate verbally. Freedom and this simple pattern encourage other types of spontaneous communication, such as play, laughter, contact or spiritual connection. Through free and conscious expression, movement expands, energy is activated and creativity surprises at every moment.

Music is a collage of varied rhythms from around the world, which make us float together as individuals of a large family in a sea of sensations. It is an appropriate context for joy and enjoyment without the disadvantages of discos, such as timetables, space, smoke and alcohol.

Ecstatic Dance is an experience suitable for all types of people, as it does not require any knowledge or experience in dance.
