Gatica Brodin

Gatica started to dance ballet when she was four years old, she danced at "The Norwegian Opera" for ten years. After she started to dance other stiles such as jazz, street and hip hop. From 2005 she worked with hip hop for two years and was the leader of one of the best teen groups in Norway.

She took her first salsa moves when she was fifteen years old and fell in love after the first class and have danced salsa ever since. In 2007 she lived in Los Angeles for a while to develop her dancing. Gatica has had the pleasure to live of dancing for fourteen years, she has worked in theaters, choreographing music videos, several plays and fashions shows and have been teaching for fourteen years.

She also found Argentinian tango and fell in love with the dance right away.

Today she's mostly dancing Bachata and Salsa and is traveling around the world performing and teaching.

Gatica is the creator of Bachata Nueva together with her last dancer partner.

She has the last three year developed the dance style, she has used all her background in dance to make this style. The last year this style has become a very popular form of Bachata all over the world.

The keys to Bachata Nueva is fun, technique and passion. The goal is to have freedom to dance.

What she love the most is the sensuality and connection in partner work, and are known for her elegance and technique on the dance floor.
