Really good

We loved Tenerife, the Costa Adeje area especially, and loved the Hotel Anthelia. The line-up of teachers was amazing, especially enjoyed Dario y Sara, Luis y Andrea, Abdel y Letty, and Ronald y Alba. The only bad things were the rooms downstairs in the Anthelia. They were too small for the top instructors, too many people, and way too hot. Also, social dancing in those rooms was Sooo hot. And one more thing; the organizers and teachers have to take more control of the classes. Some of the attendees are very rude, keep talking while teachers are trying to talk. And one final thing; couples who don't want to rotate partners in the classes should be told to go to the back of the room. NOT in front or on the sides, but they need to go to the back of the room, and this needs to be enforced. People can dance with their partners anywhere, or at the social dances. In the classes, everyone should rotate. Those are constructive suggestions from us attending many festivals, and we were at Punto Umbria right before Tenerife. Same problem with people talking and with couple who don't rotate trying to crowd in at the front. Fix these things and you'll have even better festivals. We'll be back to Tenerife next year. Overall this was a decent event. Some workshops were overcrowded while others were under-attended.

I liked that there was a variety of styles, including both Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba. However, I wish that had been better advertised and reflected in the music ratios during the socials. I was dying for some Kizomba and I found the music selection to be very limited and repetitive.

The Friday night social and pool parties were sorely disappointing, but the Saturday night social was one of the best I've been to. I just wish that it had started more on time or went event later. I was amazed at the equality of lead-follow ratios, which were the most even I've ever seen them at an event like this. And the organizers were some of the most involved I've seen for a large-ish event like this.

(I appreciate whoever was in charge of keeping talc available - whoever you were - you were the real MVP).

I also wish that there had been clearer communication with regards to the locations - which were various and numerous... And I think that the event would have been better placed on the north side of the island, especially since that's were the closing party was - making it almost impossible to get to since most of us were stuck without a car on the South Side of the island. And the south side of the island is boring as hell.
