World Latin Congress

The positives :

- Great teachers and shows.
- Shows were held in an amphitheater which made viewing great and left the dancing rooms available for other dancers.

The negatives:

- the big room was for salsa/bachata and the other was for bachata
it would have been great to have one room for only salsa and one for bachata
- the day social was supposed to be sbk but it was mainly salsa and bachata.....little to no kizomba
- the festival was from thursday to monday morning and was supposed to include morning, noon and night meals
There was no meals on thursday
Friday and saturday meals were covered
Sunday, we only had the morning meal.

Beautiful

The location was not great considering that many people could not stay at the venue hotel as they did not have enough space and had to commute - the bus was really unreliable and we sometimes had to wait more than an hour o get home after the workshops/party.
The parties had a weird vibe, too many girls and none of us managed to get many dances. In the big room, there were too many salsas one after the other, the small room which was only bachata was PACKED.
The worst was the party on sunday - it was in Madrid, 45 mins away by car/bus and completely unreachable if you were not in the venue hotel which had a bus arranged.
I doubt that we will come back.
Went to a social in Madrid curing the week and got to dance more than during the whole festival.
That been said - the workshops were great and the artist line up was on point!

Estuvieron los mejores artistas, hubo mucha calidad en shows y en talleres. Lo que me decepcionó fue la noche del social del viernes. La sala 1 no estaba iluminada, no nos veíamos las caras y había un láser desde el escenario que resultaba cegador a la vista...no bailé. Lo solucionaron la noche del sábado. Gracias.
