Amazing experience, amazing dancers and venue! The whole atmosphere was welcoming and nice balance of leaders and followers, spacious rooms and DJs were amazing. It’s definitely one of my favourite salsa congress experiences.

The artists were great and the social events were fun. However, it was difficult to access the hotel. I would like to participate again if that is improved. Thank you for a fun event.

The hotel was absolutely wonderful.

When it comes to the bachata room (from Friday to Sunday), almost 95% of the songs are very fast tempo! Rarely played sensual songs. It would have been much better if there are switching in moods by having a good balance between slow and fast songs, and not fast songs almost all of the time.

However, the pool party DJ was absolutely incredible from the beginning until the end.

The variety of workshops were so great.

If you love salsa, you'll enjoy this festival...but not for bachata or kizomba.

This festival has room to get better, and am sure they can :)

Positives :

- The hotel was great & had great room service

- The kizomba classes were less crowded and felt cosy and the ratio lead/follower was great

- A room for each type of dance salsa, bachata & kizomba

- The planning of classes was great and having the teachers faces on the planning was a good initiative

Negatives :

- The level of bachata was not good, nor in classes nor in the parties

- In bachata, too many leaders in classes and lots of people didn't want to change partners but still stayed in the line

- Too many leaders in bachata at the party, like 60% leaders and 40% followers

- In bachata, the line kept being uneven because people weren't organised

- The local teachers didn't help much in organising the lines nor the changing of partners

- The local teachers had a hard time speaking english

- The prices were high in the hotel restaurant and so were the drinks at the party

- pool party SBK....with lots of salsa...if you just do bachata or kizomba...you'll be waiting alot just to dance on 2 songs

- The floor was stiched with tape in some rooms, and by the end of the festival it wasn't very safe to dance on

- There was no air fans in the classes nor at the parties

- The transition of musics in the kizomba room was not very fluide

- The balance in the kizomba room at the parties was like 20% leaders and 80% followers
